In November of 2016 we had the honorable pleasure of spending a day at Brouwerij Boon with the master himself, Frank Boon. The reason for our visit was to blend a beer together, much like how we conjured up Bone Dry from 2015, but with the idea of going in a different direction this time around.

What a great first release! Wednesday night’s Viking Club and media meet and greet with Mikkel was a great time had by all. Everyone in attendance was excited about the beer as well as the opportunity to meet Mikkel and drink beer or have their bottle or book signed.

Mikkeller Brewing San Diego will introduce a series of new craft beers that will explore new flavors and challenge traditional craft beer styles. At least one new beer will be released each week in 2017. The first three limited-quantity brews will be released at a special kickoff event in January.

Yesterday, Øl & Brød had a Pop-up event at Beard restaurant in Tokyo. It was a good time and people were having fun. They introduced Smørrebrød for the guests and for some of them, it was their first time tasting it.
So the beer is safely in Thailand, and it’s tasting great! Our friends from Black Ivory Coffee brought it on a little journey to Northern Thailand, where they shared it with the coffee farmers who grown the Arabica beans used, as well as the elephants used in the process (unfortunately they didn’t get to try it!).
