There’s nothing better than spending the end of the year with people we love. We hope to spend beer week sharing wonderful beer with the friends we’ve made this year in San Diego, and with new friends visiting us for the first time.
At the beginning of the year we challenged ourselves to release to release Fifty-Two new beers. 52 weeks, 52 beers, makes good sense. We kind of screwed it up though - by the end of September we had already released sixty new beers. Of course, by then we had about sixty more ideas for new beers so there was no slowing down!

The coolest thing for us this year has been the support we’ve received from the awesome beer community in San Diego, Southern California, and from our fans around the world. We’re proud to brew beers that share our experiences, push us creatively, or we just think will be damned good - but it’s always amazing to see our beers appreciated and shared in our tasting rooms and all over the globe.
In that light we wanted to end our year in San Diego in an appropriately epic way - for Mikkeller San Diego Beer Week we’re going to release five new beers over six days! Starting Tuesday December 26th with Creme Supreme, our slightly crazy collab with Horus Ales, 12% ABV Imperial Cream Ale w/ Mostra Coffee, lactose and cinnamon, and culminating in a New Year’s Eve release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer Geek Cocoa Shake.
